Cadet NCO Regimental Dinner

This is the third successive Cadet NCO Regimental Dinner organised by SMI Bridget Lewis with the help of RSM Ron Kirkland who provided the expertise on Mess Etiquette for the 41 Cadet NCOs who attended this auspicious occasion held at Viney House TA Centre in the main drill hall. The Guests of Honour were Councillor Mrs Ranjula Takoda, Aylesbury Town Mayor together with Major (Retd) Ray Hickman, Chairman of the Buckinghamshire ACF League (fund-rasiing arm of the Bucks ACF). The catering and serving of the excellent meal was provided by Aylesbury College - Hardings Restaurant. During the evening, the "Corunna Bugles and Drums" of Oxfordshire (THe Rifles) ACF played their excellent repetoire which was much appreciated by the young audience. After the Regimental Toast, the senior Cadet - CSM Vuicsin welcomed the Guests. In response, the Mayor of Aylesbury gave a speech followed by a few words from Major Hickman. The proceedings were concluded with the presentation of the Master Cadet Award to CSM Vuicsin "E" Company and the General Officer Commanding "Certificate of Good Service" was presented to Cpl Simon Kennedy of 17th (Booker) Platoon following his excellent report as Staff Cadet on the Canadian Exchange Courses 2009. Finally, the Commandant announced the appointment of CSM Vuicsin to be Cadet Under Officer and CSgt Warner to be the next Cadet CSM for "E" Company.
