Join Cornwall Army Cadet Force in 2010 as a Cadet or Adult Instructor and "Live The Adventure".

 Take part in a wide range of activities including

 

SHOOTING

ADVENTURE TRAINING

ATHLETICS

SAILING

KAYAKING

FIRST AID

BAND & BUGLES

TEAM SPORTS

SIGNALS

                                   

Gain recognised accreditation in all of the above activities. You can also participate in the DUKE OF EDINBRUGH'S AWARDS and gain valuable qualifications by undertaking a BTEC in both PUBLIC SERVICES and MUSIC.                            

                                

The 150th year of the Combined Cadet Forces

This year we celebrate the 150th year of the Combined Cadet Forces with a wide range of national and international activities. Want to get involved? Just come along to your local Detachment's parade night and talk to the Platoon Commander. (See listing in the about us section)

The Celebrations will include...

  • 150 cadets participating in The Duke of Edinburgh's Award will have the opportunity to join a unique residential course at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth
  • There will be a special Cadet expedition to Lesotho in Africa
  • A unique sports day will be held at RAF Cranwell with cadets from all four Forces competing alongside one another
  • The Army Cadet Force, Air Training Corps and Combined Cadet Force will each send platoons to the Sea Cadets' annual Trafalgar Day Parade for the first time in its history
  • Cadets will plant 150,000 trees supplied by the Woodland Trust
  • WWI Remembrance activities will be given a special Cadet flavour
  • A national first aid competion will be hosted by Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

So what are you doing this weekend?

If you are aged 12+ or an adult we want to hear from you.  

  
You could be representing the County, Region or even the ACF Nationally and Internationally in Sports or Athletics.
  
You could be undertaking an expedition in Spain or perhaps participating in a Cadet Exchange in either Australia, Koria or perhaps Canada.
  
Or you might be completing your Mountain Leaders Course or representing your County at a National First Aid or Shooting Competition.

 

Many of the cadet and adult qualifications you obtain within the ACF are nationally recognised and can help you in your civilian careers.

  

On the other hand you could just be sitting at home watching TV or playing computer games !!
