About the Army Cadet Force

The Army Cadet Force (ACF) with its many and varied activities of military, adventurous and citizenship training, together with the BTEC First Diploma in Public Services, offers its cadets great opportunities to aquire transferable skills that will enhance them in any future career, weather it be military or civilian.
Cadets follow a progressive training programme which runs in tandem with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and as each cadet progresses through the system they take on additional responsibilities, earn promotion and grow in confidence.
Although there is often criticism of the youth of today, we believe that with direction and supervision their
positive attitudes can be correctly developed to the benefit of society and the individual.
