Commodore Bob Mansergh RN, Head Reserve Forces & Cadets Division, presented the trophy for the Obstacle Course Competition at this week’s Cadet Leadership Course to Cadet LCpl Ed Biondini from the Royal Grammar School on Friday 9 July. “It has been immensely uplifting to meet cadets who are so enthusiastic about what they have achieved at the Cadet Training Centre this week; what they have learnt here hold them in good stead whatever career path they choose” he said. Ed was very proud that the Section he led had won: “It was real team effort” he said “we thought about the competition carefully and we were really pleased that our plan worked so well.”

The obstacle course event at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, is the climax of CLC’s inter-Section competition.  Over 100 cadets have attended the course this week; the first of three. These young men and women from the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Army Cadet Force (ACF), Sea Cadet (SCC) and Air Training Corps (ATC) have been selected from among the best cadets across the UK, to take part in this prestigious course.
