Barbados 2009 Exchange Visit

In July/August 2009, 15 cadets & 5 adult instructors from Notts ACF will be going on an exchange trip to Barbados Cadet Corps.

The key aim of the trip is to take part in the International Cadet Challenge Cup and also to establish the official affiliation between the Barbados Cadet Corps and Nottinghamshire ACF.

The competition will comprise of a series of different elements including orienteering, survival, fieldcraft using laser weapons, triathlon, a 6mile relay race and a public speaking event to name a few.

All this year the cadets have been undertaking an intensive training programme to familiarise themselves with the elements of the competition they may not be as familiar with as well as raising money for the trip.
