GENERAL ROLE

The TSA is employed by the Brigade Headquarters and works with ACF personnel.

If you had to describe his role in three words, they would be to: Monitor, Advise, and Assist.

The TSA looks at: range training, field exercises and adventure training, whilst giving support and guidance to AIs especially the Detachment Commander, Range Conducting Officers and Exercise Officers.

He ensures the Safe System of Training (PEPP) is in place with all the training we do, especially ‘currency' in our qualifications.

He also promotes our ‘duty of care' and produces support documentation such as Risk Assessments. Finally he gives relevant Adult Instructor training, whilst offering ‘on line support' and a 24/7 helpline.
