Round One: Aug to Dec - 2 Cards
Round Two: Jan to Feb - 2 cards

Individual and Team competitions (Team of 4 from the same detachment), firing any .22-inch rifle with match or issued sights.10 Bull match Targets, Two cards per cadet per stage, and ten rounds to count on each card. Fired in two stages between September and February the following year. The top 200 in stage 1 go to stage 2 of which the top hundred cadets receive the cadet 100 badge the top 40 cadets are picked to represent the ACF in the whistler trophy. ENTRY FEE 50p per cadet

Jan to March - 4 Phases

A competition for teams using the no8 rifle. There are two classes that can be entered:

CLASS A, Teams of 9 (8 firers and a team leader) Rifles with match sights.

CLASS B, Teams of 5 (4 firers and a team leader) Rifles with Sights as issued. There are four practices:
- GROUPING (5 rounds)
- RAPID (10 rounds)
- SNAP (5 rounds)
- LANDSCAPE (3 rounds per man)

The competition May be fired on any single day between the 1st February and the 15th March
NO ENTRY FEE (Normally monitored by the cadet training team)

April to March - 2 Cards

There are two classes that can be entered:
CLASS A Teams using any .22 rifle with match sights at 10 bull Targets 2 targets per firer, 1 round per diagram.
CLASS B Teams using the issued no8 rifle at 5-bull tin hat targets two targets per firer, 2 rounds per diagram.

CADETS TARGET RIFLE MEETING (7.62)

May - Beckingham

A competition for teams using the Cadet L81 A2 Target Rifle. Shot at various distances throughout the weekend at Beckingham Ranges. The team is picked from several training weekends at the beginning of each year.

June - Beckingham

A competition for teams using the Cadet GP L98 A1, Lsw and the Target rifle. Shot at various distances throughout the weekend at Beckingham Ranges. Entered by Company Shooting Officer

INTER SERVICE CADET RIFLE MEETING(7.62)

July - Bisley

A competition for teams of 4 using the Target Rifle shot at Bisley Ranges in Surry at three distances 300,500x, 600x yards the teams are picked from the Teams that entered the Cadet Target Rifle Meeting in May. Entered by County HQ

BRIGADE SKILL AT ARMS MEETING (5.56)

A competition for teams using the Cadet GP L98 A1, Lsw and the Target rifle. Shot at various distances throughout the weekend at Beckingham Ranges. The team is picked from the best shots in the county during County SAAM. Entered by County HQ

MONTGOMERY OF ALAMEIN (5.56 POSTAL)

September to June - 3 Phases

A competition for teams of 4 firers using the Cadet GP Rifle L 98 A1 as issued.
Tree practices: Deliberate, Rapid, and Snap all Fired from 200x.
May be fired on any day between September and 7 June in the following year.
The final is fired shoulder to shoulder at Pirbright during the CISCRM. Entered by county HQ

EARL ROBERTS (5.56 POSTAL)

April to May - 4 Phases

A competition for teams of 4 firers using the Cadet GP Rifle L98 A1 as issued.
Four practices: Deliberate 300x, fire and movement 300x to 100x, Rapid 200x and snap 200x may be fired on any day between April and the end of March in the following year.
