Armed Forces and Veterans Day, Chatham Dockyard, 27th June

Kent Army Cadets were on parade at the Armed Forces and Veterans Day, when 30 Cadets from Kent ACF Royal Engineers Squadron helped to line the route for the arrival of HRH The Duke of Gloucester, and other invited guests.The Duke chatted to many of the Cadets who lined the route, as did thePrime Minister, Gordon Brown, and his wife Sarah.  A Drumhead Service followed, with one of the lessons being read by Cadet Staff Sergeant Graham Berreen.
