The above event was held on Saturday in glorious sunshine in Cardiff City Centre.
Armed Forces parades were being held all over the United Kingdom, and Cardiff hosted
one of biggest events.
Photographs show some of the attractions that thrilled the crowds.
The first picture shows off the mace Bearers of the Royal Welsh Regiment; also you
can see Taffy the Regimental Mascot. With the recruiting trailer, (seen in the synopsis), are Cadets and Adult instructors of Dyfed and Glamorgan Army Cadet Force. Cardiff Detachments.
Also present was Brigadier Wardle - Brigade commander 160 (Wales). With the Brigadier
in the Photograph is Major Peter Mullin's - Reserve Forces for Wales, with his father in law
who thoroughly enjoyed the day.
It is hoped to hold this event again next year, as it will be cadet150, which is the
150th Birthday of the Army Cadet Force, so a double celebration.
