Inter Services Cadet Clay Target Shooting Competition

The Inter Services Cadet Clay Target Shooting Competition took place, once again, at the Larkhill Shooting Grounds on 28/29 June. There were double the number of entries from last year, with 34 teams participating from the Army Cadets, Air Training Corps, and Combined Cadet Force. A new event this year was a competition for Adult Instructors, whose winning team then shot against a VIP team.

The format was similar to 2007, with each person shooting a 50 bird Sporting course, and also a 50 bird flush.

The high gun was Cadet Sabin, from Oxfordshire ACF, and the top team came from Seaford College.

Air Chief Marshal Sir John Cheshire KBE CB, President of the Council for Cadet Rifle Shooting, presented the prizes.
