Tiverton based Army Cadets have demonstrated their support for Armed Forces day by wearing their uniforms to School at Tiverton High School. This was part of a national Uniform to Work and School day for all members of the TA and Cadet Forces. The initiative began last year when the TA celebrated its 100th anniversary with the first ever Uniform to Work Day. This year it has been expanded to include members of the Cadet Forces and is one of the many activities around the country in the lead up to Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
Mr Andrew Lovatt, the head of Tiverton High School said " at Tiverton High School we are proud to acknowledge the diverse extra-curricular interests and successes of our students. Today enables the students to share their pride and commitment to the Cadet Forces with the school community"
The picture shows the cadets from Tiverton wearing their uniforms with one of their teachers, Mrs Torn.
